New Year's Eve, 2012 - Monday

After a wonderful Scott family Christmas this past weekend, we are on our way to Florida (Clearwater area) to work at a Habitat for Humanity ReStore for our volunteer month.  We got on the road at 2:30 AM when it was 19 degrees and snow on the ground at home (Brrrr!) and have stopped for the day at 4:30 PM in Manning, SC and 57 degrees (Yeah!) - 829 miles later.  We will walk down the street to get dinner in a bit and then hit the hay early.  We had a bit of traffic in the Baltimore/D.C. area, but otherwise it was a fairly light traffic day.  We finished a book on CD that we had started earlier and will choose another to start the day tomorrow - listening to books is a great way to make the miles fly by!
